What Does Unlearning Look Like

To unlearn what no longer serves you, you must first develop the self-awareness to identify which habits, beliefs, or "truths" are actually holding you back. Start by questioning your defaults-when you hit a snag or feel a familiar spark of frustration, ask yourself if that reaction is based on current reality or an outdated script you've been following for years. This process requires a "beginner's mind," where you intentionally set aside your ego and the need to be right to create a mental vacuum. Once you stop feeding old patterns with your attention and validation, they naturally begin to wither, leaving behind the cognitive space necessary to plant new, more effective ways of thinking and being. Continue to stay curious and remember that having an open mind is the key to all new growth.
